My name is Bharat Babaso Mane. I work for Honeywell on web technologies. While studying mathematics as an undergraduate, I was introduced to the world of
computers, thus beginning an ever-lasting relationship with the world of Computer
Science. I proceeded to complete my Masters in Software Engineering. During this
course my technical interest never faltered and was a driving force in achieving
the best in this field.
When I began my professional career as a team member at Honeywell, I had the opportunity
to get exposed to a wide range of projects. I have developed a variety of Computer
applications, ranging from console to web applications and each presenting its own
challenges - opening up a new world of learning.
Working primarily on web applications, naturally I was exposed to HTML and classic
ASP and around this time came the exciting ".NET" platform which rose to transform
the world of developing web-applications, including myself, thus developing a fondness
and an everlasting relationship with the ".NET" platform. I have worked on almost
the entire gamut of web and supporting technologies including HTML, DHTML, CSS,
XML, JavaScript, AJAX, ASP, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server 2000/2005. During my 5+ years
of professional experience in Honeywell, I got the opportunity improve my skills
not only on the programming world but also in areas like Performance Tuning, troubleshooting,
debugging, Innovations, Mentoring and Interview process. Thanks to Honeywell, I
also took the liberty in most situations in showcasing my creativity in designing
user interfaces for web applications
Most significantly, during this course I also got to pursue my Masters in Software
Engineering through Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago furthering my technical
know-how.
I do firmly believe that I can make a good contribution, by improving my theoretical
knowledge and creativity as a computer engineer, to the field of Computer Science.
